How is your jewelry made?

All pieces are made 100% by me, from start to finish (except for the earring posts and ear wires because, let’s be honest, those are so much easier to just purchase :). I start by creating every pattern in Adobe Illustrator, and then form and solder each metal piece, finishing with the beading.

What is your jewelry made of?

I use size 11/0 Miyuki glass seed beads as well as Miyuki silk thread, which I wax with 100% natural beeswax (this helps strengthen the thread). I primarily work with brass wire and sheets for any metal components outside of the ear posts and ear wires, which are sterling silver or gold plated respectively. If you have a metal allergy, please reach out to me! I will do my best to accommodate it.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Thread has a memory, so I highly recommend storing earrings either flat or hanging so that any fringe on your piece remains nice and flowy. Never wear your jewelry in the shower, swimming pool, sauna…basically anywhere that it will be exposed to water or steam. This can warp the thread and cause the metal to tarnish, rapidly diminishing the life of your piece.

Do you offer wholesale, consignment, or custom orders?

I am able to take on custom orders as time allows with the condition that the request is reflective of my typical aesthetic, design style, and color palette. Recreating or closely replicating the work of other artists is not something I do, so please save us both some awkwardness and don’t ask me :). I am open to wholesale or consignment orders on a case-by-case basis - I particularly enjoy working with other small, woman-owned businesses, so if you have an inquiry about this, I’d love to chat!

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping within the US is free (within reason - typically I ship USPS First Class but, if you need something more quickly, I’ll probably pass the shipping cost on to you). Speaking of expedited shipping, please be mindful of my 2-3 week turnaround time for made-to-order items. I will do my best to accommodate a shorter timeframe if at all possible, so it’s best to contact me ASAP with any requests of this nature.

What is your return/exchange policy?

I don’t accept returns or exchanges, so please be super sure before you click that checkout button :).

What happens if I lose or break an earring?

Accidents happen and, while a bit heartbreaking, all is not lost! I’m happy to replace a lost or broken earring at a rate determined by the original price of your purchase. If the broken piece in question is a necklace, I will do my very best to repair it at a rate agreed upon beforehand.
